Mini T21 Rockers
​
The Mini T21 Rockers program brings together music, sensory exploration, and Key Word Sign instruction in lively sessions designed for children with T21 and their families. These multisensory experiences not only deepen connections to music but also empower participants with enhanced communication skills.
Sip & Create
​
In collaboration with T21 artist Rachael Young and Illawarra artist Amy Cuneo, Sip & Create offers an empowering mixed-media art workshop. With mentorship support from Komatsu Australia, participants will be guided through a creative journey blending different styles and media, fostering diversity and collaboration.
Superstar Experience
​
The Superstar Experience offers individuals with T21 of all ages a unique opportunity to shine in the spotlight. Through this one-day event, participants will step onto a production set, engaging in interactive sessions designed to boost confidence and promote self-expression.

Changing The World… One Chromosome at a Time:
A Groundbreaking Community Initiative for Regional and Rural NSW
New events to take place in Berry, NSW. sponsored by The Scrapheap Adventure Ride Grants and Down Syndrome Australia. Delivered by Celebrate T21 and The Illawarra Music Foundry.

A new initiative, “Changing The World… One Chromosome at a Time”, is set to bring transformative support and creative opportunities to individuals with Down syndrome (T21), their families, and medical and educational professionals across regional and rural communities of New South Wales (NSW).
​
Sponsored by Scrapheap Adventure Ride Grants and Down Syndrome Australia, and delivered by Celebrate T21 and The Illawarra Music Foundry, this multifaceted project is designed to foster personal growth, creativity, and inclusion for the T21 community, while enhancing awareness among key professionals.

“This initiative offers something for everyone - from allied health professionals and carers through to T21 families and individuals - it’s about creative expression, creativity and community-building,” said Stephanie Rodden, Founder of Celebrate T21.

Berry, NSW will be the first stop on this tour, kicking off a three-day celebration during the second week of the NSW school holidays. From Friday, 11th October through Sunday, 13th October, the event will feature a range of exciting activities.
​
The festivities will open with a Breakfast for medical, allied health, and education professionals on Friday morning, followed by a Pop-Up Photographic Exhibition that will run for two days. The exhibition will be open to the public, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the T21 community, with no registration required for Saturday viewings.
​
On Friday, participants can immerse themselves in Mini T21 Rockers and a Sip & Create session, offering enriching and creative experiences. Sunday will shine with the Superstar Experience, an exciting one-day production set experience where individuals with T21 of all ages can showcase their talents and personalities in front of the camera.
​
Due to limited places and catering, registrations are essential for all activities, excluding the exhibition on Saturday, where visitors are welcome to pop in.

Celebrate T21 Photographic Exhibition & Practitioner and Education Tours
Celebrate T21’s acclaimed photographic exhibition “Your Life. Your Way. We’re Here.” will be on display for two days in Berry, highlighting the journey of over 120 families with a loved one with Down syndrome. Medical and allied health professionals are invited to join a guided tour as part of the opening breakfast on Friday morning.

This initiative not only brings critical support to T21 families in rural NSW but also fosters creativity, connection, and understanding. Celebrating individuality and providing essential resources, “Changing The World… One Chromosome at a Time” will inspire a more inclusive and empowered future for all.
