Cassie is our light; her energy and humour resonates with everyone around her. If her nose is not firmly in a book, then she is singing and dancing along to her favourite movies or cuddling up to Mum and Dad. She lives for cheese and salami sandwiches and is very good at making sure you know it. She continuously exceeds every marker set out for her and challenges us to do and be more. She has opened doorways to new adventures, amazing people and communities, and is the reason we applied to be an Ambassador in 2020 and enjoyed it so much we never want to leave and put up our hand. I want her to grow up knowing how much she is loved, that our stories, hope, kindness and time helped change the world for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
